History From Your Roots

This is a unit study designed to give your student a reason to remember history. It helps them to see how the events of the past may have affected their ancestors.

The students create a family tree and then look at history; as they look at historical events, they are then challenged to think how those events may have impacted thier ancestors alive at that time. -Sometimes they will find an event

____________________________________ that they can physically place a family member in, and their actual involvement (like with the Civil War).
